Leah Madison

Leah is pursuing a Master's degree in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a focus on drought planning and response in Great Basin Tribal communities. Leah is particularly interested in the potential of high-quality science communication to further co-production and community resilience planning. She is currently involved in a project to plan updates to the 2012 Nevada State Drought Plan which will address drought and mitigate its impacts on Nevada’s communities.
