Alexandra (Lexie) Young

Lexie Young grew up in Southern Arizona on a historic cattle ranch, which has shaped her interest in land use through time. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and spent a year working as a field archaeologist.

Lexie is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS), with coursework focusing on remote sensing, spatial analysis, and data management. Her academic interests are centered on natural and cultural resource management and how geospatial tools can support effective stewardship and community engagement. 

In her free time, Lexie enjoys going on walks with her dogs and spending time outdoors.
