The Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Center (SW CASC) and USDA Southwest Climate Hub teamed up to host a panel discussion on current drought conditions in the Southwest, and what we can anticipate for the remainder of the season. Researchers from across the region will describe drought conditions in AZ, NM, CO, UT, and NV and what that means for fire, and shed some light on the next couple of months. Speakers included Michael Crimmin (UA), Becky Bolinger (CSU), Yoshimitsu Chikamoto (USU), Shih-Yu (Simon) Wang (USU), and Tim Brown (DRI).
